FULL TIME & PART TIME ACELS TEFL (CELT) COURSE, Dublin

RECRUITING FOR OUR INDIAN SCHOLARSHIP PLACE FOR JANUARY 2011
Annalivia School in association with SPPD are offering scholarship places on our TEFL/CELT course in 2011. Please click here for more information.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TEFL COURSES IN IRELAND;

You must have a recognised TEFL certificate in order to be allowed to teach English in an ACELS (Department of Education) Recognised TEFL School in Ireland. These certificates are issued by ACELS and are now also known as the Certificate in English Language Teaching (CELT).

Only recognised TEFL providers are allowed to issue CELT certificates. Online TEFL courses, weekend course or courses that do not offer you the chance to teach students whilst being observed by traners DO NOT qualify you to teach in Recognised schools Ireland.

If you intend on Teaching English in Ireland or Great Britain, please check carefully with the TEFL course provider if the course is ACELS certified or check the ACELS website directly by clicking here. It is not enough that the course be run to ACELS standards, the provider MUST appear on this list in order to be considered as a recognised course.

The Annalivia School TEFL/CELT course appears on this list and so is fully recognised as a TEFL school by the Department of Education and Science.

FULL & PART TIME COURSES:

Both our full and part-time TEFL/CELT certificate qualify you to teach in all EFL schools around the world, including schools in Ireland recognised by ACELS. Upon successful completion of the course, you will understand teaching methodology, how to prepare a class, how to deliver a class and you will have had several opportunities to teach real students (whilst being observed with feedback provided).

THE COURSES:

These part-time courses are conducted between the hours of 6:30 and 9:45 pm on Friday evenings every weekend from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm Saturday. Please note that there will also be an additional weekday evening of teaching practice or classroom observation which may begin at 6pm or continue until 10pm depending on the time-table of classes, but where possible arrangements will be made to best suit the trainee.
